Now that the weather is getting cooler, I tried out this lovely stew.
To make it into a stew I used 6 cups of water but eventually took out about 3 cups. I kept the 3 cups in the fridge and used the extra broth at a later time because the broth solidifies when you refrigerate this stew.
I cooked the chicken for 1.5 hours, but you can slow cook it instead. The chicken pieces can be purchased in a pack at Woolworths. I chopped them into halves again as the pieces were too big.
I bought the 7 spices from Green valley herbs in Randwick.
It is hearty and so nutritious.
