Sardines for Entrée!

Heat sardines with olives and olive oil in the oven for 10 mins.

A nutritious and packed full of Omega 3 entrée at dinner time!

 

 

Cabbage Salad:

This salad is my go to salad! It is famous in Greece and I love it due to the freshness and simplicity of the flavours.

You need a good mandolin and a very fresh cabbage. Don’t leave the cabbage in the fridge for too many days. Try and use it as soon as purchased

 

Ingredients:

  • Cabbage ( white )
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Lemon

 

Grate the cabbage on the mandolin as much as you would like.

Season with salt and pepper.

Drizzle with olive oil and squeeze lemon to taste

 

As a variation you can mix red cabbage with it!

 

 

Beetroot and Goat Cheese Salad

Want to make a great looking salad that is delicious and pleasing to the eye?

Ingredients:

  • Rocket
  • Pumpkin
  • Goats cheese
  • Beetroot vacuum packed

 

Cut half a pumpkin into 5 cm cubes.

Roast in the oven for 30 mins, brown it on the grill for 5 mins.

Chop up the goat cheese, and beetroot ( cooked and vacuum packed from Coles or Woolworths).

Mix all ingredients with the rocket and serve.
