From around 36 weeks, a specific series of acupuncture treatments may help support your body as it prepares for labour — including cervix ripening and encouraging labour closer to your due date. Some research suggests this may also be associated with shorter overall labour times.

Between sessions, using TENS on the same acupuncture points can help keep that preparation going at home.

Once labour begins, TENS can also become a supportive pain relief tool — working with your body's own natural pain-relief response. One study found women using TENS waited longer before needing stronger pain relief.

Simple ingredients, extraordinary result. The secret: butter under the skin + a screaming hot oven + proper resting time. Flavour-packed roast chicken at its very best.

🧈 THE HERB BUTTER
8 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh thyme, finely chopped
Zest of 1 lemon
1 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp Dijon mustard (secret flavour booster)
Generous salt & cracked black pepper

🐔 THE CHICKEN
1 whole chicken, ~1.4 kg or less
Olive oil, for drizzling
Pinch flaky sea salt for the skin

🥔 OPTIONAL TRAY VEG (cook in the drippings)
Baby potatoes, halved
Red onion, quartered
Whole garlic cloves, unpeeled
Lemon halves, roast cut-side down so they caramelise

👩🍳 METHOD
Spatchcock the chicken (remove backbone, press flat).
Push herb butter under the skin + all over.
Drizzle with oil, flaky salt, extra paprika.
Scatter veg on tray, chicken on top.
Roast at 230°C for 25 minutes.
Rest 10 minutes (non-negotiable for juicy meat).
Finish with a big squeeze of those caramelised lemons. Total game changer.

What I do is I just keep out of the sun after 9AM. If I go to the beach, it's early in the morning.

I use chemical free products.

Have lots of exercise, 5 days a week.

Lots of water.

Lots of good sleep.

And I take my herbs when I'm not feeling 100% to regulate my body and do LED light therapy.

And I believe that's the secret to good skin.

If you really want glutathione to make a difference to your egg quality, you need a therapeutic dose. We're talking 450–600mg a day. That's the dose where we actually see a direct translation in oocyte function.

The data shows it literally changes the eggs.

NAC on the other hand? It's actually a natural drying agent. We use it clinically when someone has mucus on their lungs or a phlegmy chest — because it dries that out. So when women are taking it as a fertility supplement, it's doing the same thing internally. It's drying out your cervical fluid. It's drying out your oestrogen. And that is the last thing we want when we're trying to optimise for conception.
